Water Fountain

 Last Monday we spent a beautiful afternoon at Victoria Gardens. They have this great area for kids with a big grassy lawn, train rides, and Talia's favorite, the water fountain. This girl loves water (or as she calls it, "wa-wa.") I so enjoyed watching her run around, giggling and squealing in delight as she dodged in between the water jets. My little free spirit child will be one and a half next month and she is already such a fearless, outgoing, and adventurous little girl. Here are some shots I got of her playing in the fountain, enjoy!

Talia was playing in the water fountain when the train passed by. 

My girl didn't miss a beat, off she went leaving a trail of wet footprints behind her.

Aaron snapped this picture with his iphone as she ran off and I love it.

To me it captures her little personality perfectly.

And here she is all dried off and wanting to go back in the water to play!

 Talia usually sleeps in until 9:00am (I know, lucky right?) but one particular morning she decided she'd start the day at 6:30. This tired mommy brought her early riser into bed for a morning snuggle and some Yo Gabba Gabba (Talia's favorite show.) I love my little bead head beauty :)

We have been enjoying some really nice weather here in So Cal so one day last week we threw on our bathing suits and played by the pool.

Talia is our little daring free spirit, an adventurer at heart. She is fearless! She climbs on anything and everything, always wants to test out her balance or jump off of something. At the park she walks right past the baby slide and wants to go on the big twirly slide that she sees all the big kids playing on. Every time we go outside she always wants to play with the scooter, she hops right on and wants me to push her or tries to figure out how to move it herself. I love my little adventurer :)

Team Canada

Ok so I realize that we're a little late to the party on this one seeing that the Vancouver Winter Olympics was more than a year ago... However, since the 2010 games were being hosted by Canada I really wanted Talia to get a shirt to show her support. (She is a proud half-Canadian after all!) I had my mom send one down but the smallest size she could find was a 2T. It was a little big for Talia who was only 3 months at the time but she has now finally grown into it and can proudly sport her Team Canada shirt!
